    Strenghten synergies between academic research and innovation

    Boost translational research

    • Ensure a permanent dialogue between academic laboratories and privates companies,
    • Make research projects emerge from a common forward-looking view,
    • Create a pole for engineering serving integrative plant biology.

    Build and promote the offer of academic research to private companies

    • Promote the oportunities of research projects with private companies,
    • Develop an offer of professional training with high research content.

    Reinforce the processes of economic valorisation of research findings

    • Increase the detection of research projects that can be exploited in the industrial sector, help these projects accompanied towards their valorisation in the industry,
    • Make students and researchers more aware of research valorisation and entrepreneurship.

     

    Main results expected by 2020

    • The establishment of a platform for high-throughput phenotyping,
    • An increase in the number of projects (industrial PhD fellowships, industrial projects), industrial property titles and incubating enterprises,
    • A full catalogue of skills training and graduate education which can be tailored on request,
    • A better integration of young PhD graduates in private companies.
